Every year the boys get together to.... well be boys. This year we went to Deception Pass and kayaking Saturday morning. My friend Jeremy's brother Jeff was our guide on this 3 hour tour where we learned about tides, burlap bags filled with China men, cormorants, and other sea things. When we were done it felt like we had kayaked for a million miles, but the map said it was only 5 or 6, I think the map is wrong.

A rousing game of lawn darts. The box says that it is fun for the whole family, we put this recommendation to the test and doubt that the WHOLE family could play this game.
This is the view from the beach below the camp site.
This is the final dinner for the boys five full racks of Costco Ribs. Not only did we have these ribs, but there was a wedding rehersal dinner on the beach below are site. The mothers of the bride and groom brought up leftovers like BBQ Wings, Pasta Salad, and some chips. Needless to say we ate like Kings all weekend.

Bathroom Makeover
We have been in this house now a little over two years and have updated all of the boring things, wiring, roofing, insulation etc. Now it is time to have some fun!!!
We are starting with the bathroom since it is so small total floor space exluding the bathtub is 25 square feet. We had horrible square tiles, yucky grout, and the best part a wooden window frame in the wall (wood and water mix sooo well together).
Under Construction
Here it is under construction. My foreman Susannah did a wonderful job cracking the whip while I was away and taking pictures.
Here are pictures of the studs, tiles being put up and the new plumbing and fixtures. We had them raise the shower up 6 inches which is a must have for all of us tall guys, huh Beau??

Here they are putting in the glass square tiles we picked out. As you can also see the wooden window frame is gone.

Finally it is Done
Here is the final results. Our bathroom is now finished!!!
Look no wooden window frame! The tile is wrapped to the window and sealed with silicone sealant. See how high the rain shower head is.
