Spring had sprung, birds were chirping, the weather was warm, and the beer was freshly opened. All that was left was to fire up the BBQ for a fabulous dinner of beer butt chicken and various sides. I fired up the BBQ and started to talk to our neighbor and noticed flames coming out of the bottom. Our little BBQ had broken down the propane hose had broken free of the fitting. The end to a perfect day no BBQ chicken for the Nelsons. Luckily our neighbor was BBQ as well so we shared a grill. Longer term it allowed me to buy a new BBQ with all of the bad mamma jamma things the other one didn't have. It has 4 burners, 60,000 btu's of flame it is cool! (Tim the tool man grunts go here) The Nelson Family is now ready for summer bring it on!!!

The drape project
Ok boys just showing you all that I have Honey-Do's along with the rest of you. It isn't as labor intensive as landscaping (Nelson) or waiting in line at HD during a snow shovel shortage (Jeff), but still something to do. We went and bought curtains for the living room, master and guest bedrooms. Here is the guest bedroom, I only finished that one room. We are still looking for curtains that fit our goofy sized windows.
3-ohhhh....my goodness Susannah is 30!
Well I almost did it, I almost pulled a surprise party off for Susannah. She figured out parts of it with an hour to go so it wasn't the perfect surprise. If you didn't know the little Misses just had a birthday and it was a big one. So what do you do for the lady that has it all a fabulous house, sporty car, and a hot husband. You give her a catered birthday party with all of her friends and family. Below are some pictures of the food and just socializing.
More of Susannah hanging out with friends, opening presents, and blowing out the birthday cake candles with Audrey (Aarins daughter) helping. Later that night we would hear that Audrey thought that this was the best party ever! Maybe it had to do with the fact that cool Uncle Marc and Aunt Sooz hopped her up on sugar and then handed her off to mom and dad for the hour drive home.
