Yes it is THAT HOT

Yes it is sooooo hot that Susannah is running through the sprinkler.

103 degrees a new record.

It reached 103 degrees today here in Seattle a new all time record by 3 degrees. It was 94 degrees in our hous at 5:55. I came home to find susannah in our basement beating the heat. Of course we scored an air conditioner from my buddy Jeremy Ernst for $40. That is the best $40 I ever spent this year.

Enjoying the Beach House

Our friend Chad has a family beach house in Allyn on the Hood Canal. The cabin was great, with a nice large porch where we could watch the boats and eat like kings. We enjoyed "boating" or lack there of due to mechanical problems with the boat. This was a great weekend to hang out and enjoy a wonderful summer weekend with friends.

The main house is white and one of the guest bungalows in the fore ground.

The porch, Susannah and her friend Loyce hanging out.

Chad going to get the boat ready for a day of fun.

Going out on the boat and ready to catch some sun.

Marc getting ready for some inter tubing fun. Supposedly this is the sexiest pic of the weekend the ladies loved the belly life jacket.

So I jumped into the cold and refreshing sound water ready for some fun.....and the boat wouldn't start.

So we waited for the neighbors to come rescue us.

Oooo solo mia!! Ooo sooolooo mi!!! Just paddling toward shore.

We enjoyed boating around the cabin

After such an adventure we enjoyed some appetizers.

Later that night we played Monopoly and headed off to bed.

Ice Cream!!!

Summer is here and this 4th of July we celebrated in style. We purchased an ice cream maker so we could enjoy some homemade ice cream.

DC Vacation

We finally got away for a vacation to Washington DC and Ocean City Maryland. We spent the first day in DC walking the mall, visiting the monuments, and cruising museums and Grandma Marys neighborhood. The follow day we left for Ocean City to hang out on the beach for 3 days. Along the way we stopped at Annapolis, where my wife was on the hunt for those Navy College boys, luckily they were on summer vacation. In Ocean City we layed out on the beach during the day and went to the Boardwalk, mini golf and Fager's Island at night. We left the OC and stopped in Saint Michaels for a Maryland Crab feed with the family.
The remaining days in DC we went to Georgetown University, downtown Georgetown for some shopping, more museums, and the newly renovated Eastern Market.

Us at the Lincoln Memorial.
